The Bullet Parade is an indie pop band based in State College, Pennsylvania (or as they often call it, "Happy Valley, USA"). A line in one of their songs, called "Kennedy's Dead for a Reason," is the source of the band's name. The Bullet Parade has existed since approximately 2000 with varying lineups, all including the band's frontman, Jeff Van Fossan. Van Fossan is also the creator and head of Roustabout!, a concert promotion company that has organized events in State College and New York City. The band has released the Crime is on My Side EP, which also takes its title from lyrics of "Kennedy's Dead for a Reason." This four-song EP is the only official release by the band. Other songs of theirs have leaked on mp3. The band's most recent lineup change occurred between September and November of 2005. During this period, guitarist Charles Ramsey started performing in support of his solo album, "Something New." Ramsey, a familiar keystone member of the band, had played lead guitar in the Bullet Parade since 2001. Additionally, drummer Daryl Branford left the band. Remaining members vocalist/guitarist Jeff Van Fossan and guitarist/bassist Jenn Partyka continued the Bullet Parade, with the addition of drummer Mark Kleeb (formerly of Kill the Lights), guitarist/bassist Eric Myers (formerly of No Points Scored), keyboard and trombone player Grace Byrne, and cellist Maria Browne, form the band's active roster.
