Artist
The Brothers Butch ( George and Clarence - and not real brothers I suspect ) short lived career consisted entirely of the 1969 single ' Kay Why ' - a clever homage to the well known lubricant. It came ( excuse the pun) in a rather tossed -off hand drawn sleeve ( someone stop me) on the Thrust label in London. Luckily this track is now available on Jon Savage;s excellent ' Queer Noises 1961-1978 From The Closet To The Charts ' compilation on Trikont ( 2006). Well worth having if you cant get hold of the original 7'' ( thats the last one , sorry) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
