The Boyzz were a rock band from Chicago, Illinois that formed in 1977. They have been described as a biker band who play southern rock. The band consisted of Dirty Dan Buck (vocals), Mike Tafoya (guitars), Gil Pini (guitars), David Angel (bass), Anatole Halinkovitch (keyboards) and Kent Cooper (drums). They were signed to Epic Records and released one full-length album entitled Too Wild to Tame. Although the album was not commercially successful, it would get more recognition as time went by. The Boyzz disbanded in 1980. Members went on to other bands over the years. Dirty Dan Buck decided to revive The Boyzz and called it One of the Boyzz. A biographical book about The Boyzz was written by Pete Berwick. Too Wild to Tame: The Story of the Boyzz was published on April 6, 2023.
