The Bot Flies are an indie rock band with an electronica edge based out of the Pine Barrens of South Jersey. The band was formed during the summer of '06 after the break-up of the Philosophiks, by Adam Scavette and John Mick. In the late fall of '06, Erik Schroder, Nikki Baylies, and Zane Kanevsky, of Goodnight or Sleep, were recruited into the band . "Elliot's Jambergamy" was the bands first single released online (www.myspace.com/botflies) in early September '06 which was soon followed by their second release, "Six Athenian Pachyderms". The band is currently booked to play a variety of shows in the Tri-State area. Keep an eye out for their first demo which is scheduled to be completed early in 2007.
