BLUES/JAZZ/FUNK/NO WAVE. The Blues Astronauts were a Yale band, most of them in Jonathan Edwards College, all graduating in 1982. After graduation, they played around Boston for a year before going their separate ways. They were Paul Bloodgood (vocals), Mike Albrecht (guitar), Jodie Myers (bass), Dan Perlman (drums), Boo Elmer (trombone), and Willy MacMullen (harmonica).
