Tadley is a town and civil parish in the English county of Hampshire. During the 1950s and 1960s, the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment (AWRE), now known as AWE, became the area's largest employer, and a large number of houses were built during this period to accommodate AWRE workers. Though the establishment was located in the parish of Aldermaston, most of these houses were built in Tadley. In 2002 the name Black Heart Orchestra was established but it wasn't until the end of 2007 that the band finally found its core line up and played its first show. Being hampered by countless line up changes and other projects and art schools taking precedence. The Black Heart Orchestra have boasted at one time as many as ten members and as little as three. The Orchestra use multiple guitar tracks with three guitars using tape loops and heavy use of delay pedals to create thick noisy punk rock. They are currently planning to release three 7' Records this summer on We Heart Records and a Split 7' on Come All Ye Punks Records across the span of the summer. http://www.myspace.com/blackheartorchestra http://www.reverbnation.com/theblackheartorchestra http://www.facebook.com/pages/Black-Heart-Orchestra/71805452423?ref=ts http://comeallyepunks.blogspot.com/ User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
