The Big Church of Fire is a music act from Portugal that mixes rock and neo-psychedelia, creating cinematic soundscapes with references from Bukowski to Leone. First emerging in 2007, they recorded their debut EP in New York with Matt Verta-Ray (Heavy Trash, Speedball Baby). The EP, named "For Tura with Love", was dedicated to cult-movie actress and femme fatale Mrs Tura Satana. In 2014 they released "Banditti con Amore", recorded at King Studios by Nick Nicotine (Nicotine's Orchestra, Jack Shits) .
