You may be surprised to find out that great things have come out of Philadelphia besides Rocky and Cheese Steaks. One of those things is The Better Half. Formed in early 2008, the band has quickly taken the Philadelphia / New Jersey area by storm with infectious melodies, high energy live performances, and a devotion to their fans that is second to none. While the band draws from a diverse pallet of influences including artists that range from Foo Fighters to Tom Petty, The Better Half has carved out a sound that is uniquely their own. The band had radio support and airplay of their last release (Equilibrium) in the Philadelphia, Allentown, State College, and New Brunswick markets and has headlined / sold out some of the top venues in the Philadelphia / New Jersey area including World Café Live, The TLA, Starland Ballroom, Crocodile Rock, House of Blues Atlantic City, and more They have also supported artists such as Halestorm, Cavo, Black Stone Cherry, Adelitas Way, Saves the Day, Fuel, and Sebastian Bach.
