Fictional barbershop quartet, formed by characters seen on 'The Simpsons'. Members featured Homer Simpson, Apu D'Beaumarchais (Nahasapeemapetilan), Principal Seymour Skinner and Barney Gumble (replacing Chief Clancy Wiggum), who were spotted by a talent scout in the late 80s following a successful local tour. The scout in question (known only as 'Nigel') axed Wiggum due to his being 'too Village People'. His replacement was found whilst Gumble was searching for a toothpick on the men's room floor at Moe's Tavern (then known as 'Moe's Cavern'). After scoring a major #1 hit with 'Baby On Board', the group disbanded following the rise of Swiss Yodelling and the decline of barbershop, and Gumble's motion to push the group in 'strange new directions'. The group reunited in 1992 for a Dame Edna special, before performing their biggest hit one last time upon the rooftop of Moe's a year later.
