SINCE ITS LAUNCH IN 2003, BANG GANG HAS ESTABLISHED ITSELF AS AUSTRALIA’S UNRIVALLED PREMIER NIGHT OF TWISTED ECLECTICISM. THEY SUM IT UP THE CRAZINESS IN 65 SONGS. Joining the dots between the label rosters of Modular, Ed Banger, Dubsided and Institubes, The Bang Gang DeeJays have created a fantastical new mish mashed sound. This year has seen them start spreading the gospel with their own label, Bang Gang 12 Inches, which has produced a string of well supported releases since the start of the year. Although the title 'Light Sound Dance' describes the music, it makes up just one third of the package. It's the party atmosphere they create, their bright, fantastic sense of style, the artwork they produce and the effect they have on their crowded young dancefloor that completes the package. These boys are a force to be reckoned with. The crew that make up this brilliant, wacky ensemble are Jaime Doom, Gus Da Hoodrat, Dangerous Dan, DJ Damage and Ajax, along with maitre d' Nolan Nolan. All five have played a part in welding the past, the present and the future of partying into 2 discs, all with the inimitable Bang Gang smudge. In their downtime they're far from inactive sofa slobs, with Monsieur Damage turning out a couple of 12"s on Headman's Relish label as one half of Riot In Belgium, while Dangerous Dan became Dangerous Dad and gave birth to the infamous "Around The World Again" 12" with Nicky Van She.
