The Bad Robots Highlights Hit-List… ·One of Clash Magazine’s ‘40 Bands you HAVE to hear this year’ ·One of the Red pages’ ‘Hot 100’ for 2008 ·Selected by ‘Talent Only’ panel to play at 2008’s Midem Music Festival ·Recently were Steve Lamacq’s ‘Unsigned Band of the Week’, getting national radio play on BBC Radio 6, and undertaking the first trans-continental live interview on the show. ·August 29th ’07 – write up in The Metro newspaper, read daily by over 2 million people, as a Band to Watch, proclaiming The Bad Robots to be ‘Inexplicably unsigned’, and comparing us to a mix between The Clash and The Beach Boys. Seriously, they said it and we didn’t even ask them to. ·Selected to play Canadian Music Week 2008, one of the worlds biggest and most prestigious new music festivals. Also made the first Feature Artist on the CMW website, picturing The Bad Robots on the front page of the site. ·Myspace UK Featured Artist, gathering over 10,000 hits to The Bad Robots myspace page (www.myspace.com/thebadrobots) in just 7 days. ·Made top 3 in Channel 4’s Mobile Act Unsigned band competition, broadcast every Sunday for 12 weeks, playing in front of Universal Records head of A&R Simon Gavin, Radio 1’s Jo Whiley and Blurs’ Alex James.
