The Axehead Journal is an alternative and experimental rock act based in London. As its main producer, singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Guigz remains solely responsible for its direction. The Axehead Journal's concept developed through various release formats, incarnations and line-ups. Spanning across a variety of genres, The Axehead Journal's music retains a characteristic percussive rock-based sound incorporating soundscapes, electronic instruments, re-sampling and processing.
