The Anaksimandros was a Finnish free folk 'supergroup' formed in Tampere featuring members of Kemialliset Ystävät and Avarus, including Jan Anderzén, Jonna Karanka (aka Kuupuu), Markus Mäki, Arttu Partinen, Kevin Regan, Laura Naukkarinen (aka Lau Nau). Their music was tribal, repetitive, atonal and played without any regards to tempo. Also the use of any instrument possible is a must, whether it be traditional folk instruments or cheap toys.
