The Amsterdam Red Light District is born over October 2005 since some friends decided to make a bit of Rockn’roll in a new project: Maxxx at the guitar, Greg will play bass, Julien will hit the drum and Ivan will sing some stuffs. After some compositions, the sound of the band defined fast: A mix of Hardcore, Punk and Metal with influences like Refused, The Ghost Of a Thousand, Raised Fist or The Bled. In July, 2007, they will go to NSR Studio to record 3 new titles for a new EP called "Let's celebrate the end". Tasty mixture of Comeback Kid, The Bled, Raised Fist and At The Drive In... A demo which will make an appearance in the specialized press (ROCK ONE and PUNK RAWK). November, 2008, it is a new turn for TARLD with Elio's incorporation to replace Ivan. He integrates easily the band and new influences then comes to graft. Elio brings a voice more "Hardcore" sticking absolutely on the style thought at the origin by the members of the band with a voice in the vein of Snapcase or Raised Fist. In February 2009, the band recorded his first music video for the song "Shine A Life" and the video is broadcasted by Lagardère TV, which is the main music french channel network (MCM France, MCM Belgium and Virgin17). The Amsterdam Red Light District recorded its debut album "Dear Diary" during the 2009 summer which notably counts a featuring of the charismatic James Isaiah Munoz, singer of the Texan band The Bled (Rise Records).
