The Amazements are a Los Angeles based band that are inspired by some of the great groups of our past. You can hear The Stones, Hanson and even a little Geto Boys when you listen to one of their songs. They formed in the early turn of the century and have since been holding bimonthly and even weekly shows are the best clubs around Los Angeles. The band consists of only 3 members, Liam Morrison- who plays the drums and stands as the bands number one producer. Brendan Morrison- the bands guitarist and songwriter along with Elon- their bassist, occasional guitarist, and singer/songwriter. Formed in Hollywood in the living room of the Morrison brothers, they found their sound once the band narrowed their membership down from five, to three. The two band members they fired (Sam Lubciz and Marley Powell) have yet to produce any albums in wide circulation. Although it is rumored that Los Angeles and Chicago based rap artist Sex-S is in fact, Sam Lubciz. They have 4 recordings out as of October of 2006. The Capitol Years, a short 3 song EP; one of their earliest of tracks. Live At The Fais Do Do March 12, 2005, a live show recorded at a club in their home town of Los Angeles. Amazements Live, another live recording at an unknown location. And finally Big Hits, their latest album, that is strung together with live recordings from clubs around New York, Chicago, and Cleveland.
