About Members: Alan James Guitar and Vocals, David Morgenstern Bass, Michael Reed Sax, Eddy Barattini Drums Sounds Like: Larry Carlton, Allman Brothers Band, Carlos Santana, Robert Cray, Keb' Mo' Alan James Hutchinson is a proficient vocalist, guitarist, recording engineer, session player and song writer. Throughout his career, Alan James has performed professionally, both as a lead guitarist/vocalist and acoustic soloist.He has also performed throughout the U.S. from Connecticut, Nantucket Island, Virginia, Florida, Chicago, Nashville and Arizona, and has opened for many well-known performers such as Joan Jett, B.T.O., Michael Bolton, Jefferson Starship and Rick Derringer. While in Chicago, Alan performed with many renowned blues men such as Willie (Big Eyes) Smith (Muddy Waters' drummer for 19 years) and bassist Kenny Kinsey, son of Big Daddy Kinsey. In May 2004 Alan shared the stage with renowned rocker Rick Derringer for the Marathon,Fla. Off shore grand Prix Concert event. Also to his credit, the world famous Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville, commissioned Alan to perform his original compositions for a national televised airing of an episode for " 48 hours". On his CD, "Alan James Break the ice" performing, are some of the Americas' top session players, including : Dee Murray, bassist from Elton John, Roy Yeager drummer for the Atlanta Rhythm Section, and Jim Horn, renowned session sax player from the Traveling Wilburys.
