Shoegaze / alternative rock band from Wakefield The Air Was Thick is a group of three boys who make music that sounds like something between shoe-gaze and alternative rock in a house near Wakefield. They started doing so in the freezing winter of 2010 after the demise of their old bands, Candid Squash & Lover Octave. Right now TAWT are working towards recording their first EP which will be released independently through the band around March 2011. This EP will be available from the band at gigs or via internet download.
