There are multiple artists named The Afternoon: 1. The Afternoon is a pop punk and punk rock band from Rīga, Latvia. It was formed in 2009 by brothers Arnis Ozoliņš and Ivars Ozoliņš. The Afternoon was a pop rock band formed in 2008 in Oswego, Illinois, United States. It was originally started as an acoustic project by the band's frontman Spencer Walters and soon progressed into a full band under the name In Arlington. After a few lineup and name changes spanning a year The Afternoon finally found its name and a solid group of members who were Spencer Walters (guitar, vocals), Erik Walters (guitar), Chris Adams (bass guitar, vocals) and Dave Newton (drums).
