The Admirals Club was formed in 2006 with Benjamin Pearson (guitar), J. Marshall Morrell (bass), Corey Boise (drums), and Damon Witherspoon (vocals). They soon began honing in on a sound reminiscent of touch and go's earlier era, and began working their niche in Nashville's music scene. They soon meet up with producer/musician Steve Austin (Today is the Day, Taipan) after playing the opening slot in Nashville for the Supernova Records 2007 tour. After that they quickly fell into the Supernova fold and recorded with Steve at Austin Enterprises in early 2008.
