Artist
The obscure Boston-area alternative rock band the 360's originally formed in 1989, comprised of members Audrey Clark (guitar, vocals), Eric Russell (guitar), Brian Evans (bass), and John Grady (drums). The quartet first started under a different name, the Bardots, issuing a self-produced demo tape, Tripping With the Angels, shortly thereafter. By 1991, the quartet had signed to the Asylum label and issued their debut full-length, Illuminated, an album which was described at the time as a cross between Sonic Youth and '60s psychedelic rock. Despite several more releases during the early '90s -- 1992's Supernatural and Texas EP (the latter of which included a cover of Jimi Hendrix's "Are You Experienced?"), plus 1994's Strawberry Stone -- the 360's never caught on with the record buying public, and eventually split up.
