The 25th Hour is an experimental instrumental metal/hardcore band from San Diego, California. Current Members Include: Calvan Christ-Bass, Kyle Butts-Guitar, Richard Hobart-Drums Former members include: Jamie Nguyen- Drums, Mickey Dixon - Vocals, Tyler Christ- Drums, Brandon Salazar - Vocals, Rickey Vasquez - Guitar, Tyler Christ-Vocals, and Dave Martin- Vocals The 25th hour was formed in Early 2004 and recorded their first 3 song demo at Double Time studios in El Cajon, Ca. They soon formed a small cult following of true metal heads looking for something different from the typical San Diego hardcore scene. As the next few years flew by, the band went through a few small line up changes and another small demo recording. In 2007 the 25th hour recorded "25" a CD of concept songs (at the now closed LOVE JUICE LABS SD) ranging in topics from inside jokes (seapeas) to the end of the world (elden features). Since the release of the EP... Jamie, Mickey, and Brandon have left the band due to personal reasons. After much work through 2008 (and many drumming auditions), The 25th Hour recruited Richard Hobart on drums. Now with a solid musical foundation they pushed forward into the new year. 2009 saw the brief addition of vocalists Dave Martin and the return of Tyler Christ, now providing the vocals. After playing a handful of local shows, the band decided to drop vocals all together and become instrumental. The band is now gearing up for a full length release debuting in spring 20
