Τέτος Δημητριάδης Bürgerl. Name: Θεόδοτος Δημητριάδης Profil: Tetos Demetriades (4 December 1897 or 1901, Constantinople - 28 November 1971, Bergen, New Jersey, USA) was a Greek singer, record producer, record company owner. Brother of Τασία Δημητριάδη. Married to Βέρα Δημητριάδη. At the end of World War II he run his own label. Many of his elafro recordings were accompanied either by Nathaniel Shilkret's orchestra or by Victor Symphony Orchestra. According to Dick Spottswood, Tetos Demetriades was the first artist, who recorded the song "Misirlou", in New York in July 1927 (Μισιρλού / Μέσα Στη Ζάλη Του Κρασιού = Misirlou / Mesa Stin Zali Tou Krasiou), and not Nicholas Roubanis, who performed the jazz version of the song in 1941.
