Ten Pints to Glory was a band formed in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada from 2003 to 2007. Although the band played many concerts in the province of Alberta over their four year span, they only recorded one album entitled Hold My Beer and Watch This: MFCA! Plus Seven. The album was never formally released. The band was often compared to the influential proto-punk outfit The Dictators, both for their loud, fast Rock 'n' Roll and their goofiness. Ten Pints was known for their live show, where the vocalist would often drink a six-pack of beer in the span of one song and playfight with the other band members. In this sense, the band was similar to the early Replacements. The band members themselves were no strangers to the Red Deer underground music scene, as they all played in other local bands. Vocalist Cody Fleck (Reverend Wild West Benalto-Tenpints) was renowned as Wild West Benalto, the lead singer on many Benalto albums. Mike Martin (Parrot Boy Tenpints) and Stuart Bota (Rooftshit Tenpints) were previously part of Youth Decay, while Mario Giguere (Froggy/White Flag Onepints) and Stefan Duret played in totheteeth/tothehilt. Fleck and Martin went on to form the Edmonton-based Balls Out Face First, while Duret later reprised his role as bassist in Secret Fires and Slates.
