Artist
A girl duo that plays confusing, controversial, and energetic 10-15 minute shows. Ten Minutes With My Dad, also known as 10 Minutes With My Dad was formed in 2003 by musician Tree Carr, Nisha Thirkel and producer Taka Mukai. Their sound was a mix of low-fi electro beats with punk rock and heavy metal guitar riffs, accompanied by shouty vocals. Their lyrics were darkly comical, often referencing satan worship, sex, drugs and rock n' roll. This Shoreditch duo broke up in 2005 and were known for their controversial and violent stage shows. They incited a riot on the Sailor Jerry stage at Download 2004 music festival and were consequently banned.
