Ten For Tea is the solo music written, performed and recorded by Jason Wickman from the faraway land of Newton, Iowa. In 2002 Jason purchased a home recording device and the music has slowly grown and evolved from ideas to home recorded c.d.s distributed to and by his friends. Ten For Tea draws from a diverse spectrum of musical periods and genres. Influences include John Frusciante, Elliott Smith, John Lennon, Daniel Johnston and many other corners of the musical spectrum. Jason currently lives a secret life as a dental lab technician, and sometimes sneaks into his basement to write and record his catchy cache of soulful songs that never stray too far from self deprecating, silly and fun.
