The project Temple of Dread was founded in late 2017 by Markus Bünnemeyer (music) und Frank Albers (lyrics) to create Death Metal songs in honor of their good old heroes. Influenced by bands like Death, Pestilence, Morgoth, Benediction and many more, the work quickly resulted in neck-breaking, skull-crushing and brain-drilling Death Metal songs. Yes, they pay homage to their heroes, but they do this with a nonetheless own and unmistakeable style in songwriting and lyrics.
