Artist
A tellurion (also spelled tellurian), is an instrument that depicts how day, night and the seasons are caused by the movement of the Earth on its axis and around the sun. Rising out of the ashes of two different bands (Badly Preserved and Rots), TELLURION became a fact in october 2008. Starting out as a band with one drummer (Matthijs Quaars), one guitar player (Benjamin Moll) and vocalist (Elton Boussen), rehearsals began in october of 2008. Soon the band was joined by Brennan Caboor filling up the empty gap of a second guitarplayer. With a february 2009 deadline for the upcoming EP named TELLURION, rehearsals began to take shape and the intensity of the songs became much bigger during that whole process. The album was fully recorded at Elton’s place and produced and mixed by Elton and Benz. Being in the music scene for more than fifteen years, Elton relied heavily on his experience as a musician (both live and in the studio). His know-how helped tremendously with the writing proces of the songs. As cliché as it may sound……TELLURION is a 4 piece band with total unique characters and everyone has his saying in the proces of creating an album. Combine this with the technical skills and tightness of the band and you’ll get a monster wanting to go out there and destroy everything and anything on the road. So better beware….they’ll create an unbelievable live experience brought to you with the power of a deranged psycho going strong on acid. 2009 promises to be the year
