Teksteppa has been into the underground rave scene since around 1991 , from listening to the likes of The Prodigy , Smart E's , Altern 8 , The Shamen and many more when 'rave' was hitting the top ten charts and was at its peak....hailing from midlands Uk , Teksteppa bought his first pair of [belt driven!] turntables back in 1997 and soon began mixing and buying records. In 1999 , after meeting a group of soon to be good friends at the Que Club in Birmingham , Teksteppa was offered a resident DJ set at a local event called 'underground' which catered for the more 'hardcore' style clubber , where DJ's played old skool hardcore / jungle / breaks / drum and bass......this residency gave Teksteppa the confidence to start DJing at other clubs/events and soon enough the name Teksteppa could be found on alot of the underground music scene flyers around the midlands , including Flashback , Absolution , One Nation , Tunnel Vision and many many more. In the year 2000 , Teksteppa began messing around with music production after hearing his younger brothers early music productions on the playstation program 'music 2000'.......Teksteppa soon switched from playstation to PC and started using programs like Sonic Foundry Acid pro / Soundforge etc etc.....as the music productions improved so did the equipment and programs and in 2006 Teksteppa released his debut single under the alias 'Morphesis' on Freestyle Recordings in the US......Morphesis - The Script / Iron mask received some great sup
