Teja Schmitz is a coiffeur from Düsseldorf. He owned a hairdresser's shop near Kraftwerk's Kling Klang Studios and became hairdresser of Kraftwerk and other members of the Düsseldorf music scene. In 1981 Teja Schmitz borrowed a synthesizer from Kraftwerk and self-released just one 7" single "Säuren ätzen und zersetzen" limited to 500 copies.
