(b. 31.7.1981 Helsinki, Finland) Teemu started to play piano at 3-years old and found his inner rhythm in 1986 when he used to play drums of cardboard boxes and footbals. But he started to practising a real drumkit in his elementary school and with his class music teacher they were piano & drums duo during the music classe's (there were no bassist at all). During the years Teemu's teacher introduced him to one North-Helsinki based band school's principal in the early of 1990 and he recomended to join their band school and his first band was practising on every friday of the week at Hakunila's elementary school in 1992. At least those years Teemu was a drummer of several bands and done all so 3 full musical productions by playing the percussions and then drums in the years 1996-1998. Yamaha Electone keyboard/organ music school was the place where Teemu got his first touch of fusion kind of music in 1987-1995. That music school was first owned by Helsinki Fazer Music company but it went down in 1992 and after that one of the founder teacher Junko Sakai-Pitkänen started her own private Electone school. But the fusionjazz type of music and this all contemporary music was the main rule for Teemus future in the late 90's and these major jazz artists like Chick Corea and his famous Electric Band changed Teemu's drumming and keyboard playing skills over the years.
