Ted Danson with Wolves (formerly Crouching 80s Hidden Acronym) are an Australian math rock/indie rock band based in Sydney, New South Wales. The band consists of vocalist/saxophonist Nick Levy, guitarist/vocalist "Jivin'" Josh Dowton, bassist/vocalist Dean Crowe and drummer Tom Houlahan. Members of the band either are or have also been in bands such as Jerk Off The Dead, We Caught The Kraken, Rara Avis/Roland Major, Nudest Nudists, Duri Harbour, Mannheim Rocket, ACHE, F'tang, MSV BCP, Arafura and zzzounds. The band originally formed in Tamworth in 2007 under their previous name; playing their first show in May 2008. The band underwent several line-up changes and genre shifts between their formation and subsequent relocation to Sydney. An EP, entitled "I Just Don't Think It's Funny, Or Clever, Or In Good Taste," was released in 2009. A split release with Rara Avis - which featured members of Crouching 80s - entitled "Truth Masseuse / Itch Bin," was released in 2011. The band officially changed their name in 2012, and subsequently released two songs under the Ted Danson with Wolves moniker: "Tim Has a Really Good Idea (...Again!)" (2012) and "Never Look a .gif Horse In The Mouth" (2013). Both appeared on the band's debut album, entitled 'WWTDWWD?', which was released in March 2014 via Eunoia Collective. In January 2016, the band released a new single, "Dr. Ocatiers Vs. The Webbing Man." It was one of three songs that were put out on a new 7-inch in late February, entitled
