Technicolor Tone Factory, otherwise known to their die-hard fans as “TTF”, is the newest and biggest all-live rock/funk/prague fusion band working their way to the top of the Colorado music scene. Most prominently, TTF features a duo of guitarists with extremely distinctive methods (Brian Boster & Jarrod Guaderrama) who energetically weave contrasting styles of shredding guitar in to a kaleidoscope of rhythm and melody. Guaderrama’s El Paso, TX roots, showcasing glimpses of bluegrass and folk, and Boster’s soulfully improvisational techniques combine forces resulting in a crescendo of super saturated sounds. Any given Technicolor Tone Factory concert has absolutely no shortage of jaw-dropping beats and mind bending bass lines. TTF is the proud home of arguably one the most skilled Drum and Bass teams in the “box state” (Bryan LeFever & Zach Jackson). LeFever’s emotionally heart-filled percussion and rigorous CU Drum Line/Blue Knights training blended with Jackson’s outrageously catchy (and sometimes ridiculously intricate!) low-end bass riffs resonate to the core of every concertgoer’s desire to move. Together, Jackson & LeFever provide the foundation for the funk. TTF’s secret weapon is keyboarder Greg Kallfa. Kallfa’s jazzy, funky and defined work on the keyboard and Hammond organ (sometimes supplemented with a home-made talk box) makes the use of any arpeggiator or Ableton setup virtually obsolete. Kallfa and Jackson’s blend of profound vocal harmonies and metaphorical l
