Taylor Locke & The Roughs is a side-project of Taylor Locke, who plays guitars and supplies vocals for the awesome powerpop band, Rooney. Locke's solo effort with his own backing band, called The Roughs (Chris Price on guitar & keyboards, Charlotte Froom -former bassist of The Like - on bass, and Mickey McCormack on drums), is not a quantum leap away from the Rooney sound and spirit. Taylor Locke & The Roughs deliver plenty of guitar-driven melodies, often surrounded by harmonies that conjure up the ghost of the Beatles and Queen.
