1. Kim Min-young (Korean: 김민영; born July 10, 1982 in Seoul, South Korea), known professionally as Taru (타루), is a South Korean singer-songwriter. Originally the vocalist of the popular trio band The Melody in 2006, her first solo album entitled R.A.I.N.B.O.W had electrifying sounds of electronica and a featured artist lineup that includes guitar pop band Swinging Popsicle and popular electronica band Sentimental Scenery. 2. Taru Tammikallio is a Finnish Author, Media Entrepreneur & Singer. She is most known for her work surrounding professions and aspirations in Finland, but has recently started making music. She began writing Poems in Elementary School, but opted to go to High School and train to become an Entrepreneur. She also has a Podcast and Photography portfolio.
