A combination of Jewish and Ukrainian music roots with spoonful of Oriental influences creates a unique style of the band. Musicians use rare percussions and wind instruments of Eastern Europe and Mediterranean in unexpected combinations. Tapuach beDvash (Apple with Honey) is an Israeli folk music band that was founded in 2003 by Anatoly Geyko, arranger and multi-instrumental player. Five musicians of the band immigrated to Israel from the former Soviet Union in 1995-2000. Each member of the group brings along years of rich and diverse performing experience. The blend of their talents and backgrounds, unpredictable arrangements and performing of old music captured the attention of wide Israeli audience and brought great successful to the band.
