Tape Runs Out are a Cambridge, UK based band formed in mid 2012. They have been described variously as electro-pop, shoegaze, organic electro, dreampop and have been compared to bands such as Radiohead, Pink Floyd, The Cure and Animal Collective. Current members are: Dan Dawson (Guitar) Liam Goodrum-Bell (Vocals, Guitar, Synths) Takeshi Kanemoto (Bass Guitar) Lawrence Moore (Drums) Clare Myerscough (Violin, Vocals) Ellie Winter (Hammered Dulcimer) Ex-members include: Ali Barker Rich Barker (Guitar) Yasmin Prebble (Keys) Henri Salonen Collaborators include: Joseph Winters (Trumpets on Children Will Dance) Of the three members credited on the Covered In Tape EP on Bandcamp, Goodrum-Bell is the only remaining member. In 2013, the band released their first EP 'Covered In Tape', which featured later-to-be-re-released songs Friends and Flowers. In 2016, the band released the Go To Sleep EP, and released it on a joint CD with the Knife EP in 2017. In 2019, the band released the Talking Through The Walls EP, and in early 2020 released the Sleepwalking Into A Fire EP. In January of 2021, the band released a single - Hospital - in preparation for their next EP, Ghost Fruit. They also released Ode to Barry in 2021, a song dedicated to a bearded dragon. In January of 2023, the band released Souvenir, the debut single for their debut album. They also released Paperback, before releasing their debut album - Floodhead in March.
