Tania Vulcano was born in Uruguay, but has lived in Ibiza for the last 8 years. This talented DJ is very well known on the island and has rapidly gained international recognition. It was five years ago that she became resident at DC 10’s Circo Loco and Space, which have served as a perfect stage for her all this time. Tania is also now resident of the very prestigious London club, The End, and also Discoteque and La Terrrazza in Barcelona. Tania’s career began around eight years ago, at small clubs in Palma de Mallorca, but it was upon reaching Ibiza that she began to make a name for herself. The last two summer seasons have been specially important since Circo Loco at DC10 was considered the best and most underground party on the island. Here Tania has had the opportunity to spin alongside Tenaglia, Mr C , Fatboy Slim, Terry Farley, amongst others. Muzik magazine(UK) comments in it’s ‘Saints & Sinners’ September 2001 issue: “ It may come as a surprise to you, but members of Muzik’s staff in Ibiza sometimes find themselves tired and emotional. DC 10 ressie Miss Vulcano, has proven to be something of a Godsend in this respect, giving new energy to tired limbs with her after hours blend of Tenaglian funk on a Monday morning.” Tania’s style goes from Deep, Funky House to Tribal filled with percussion.
