Taking their love to lo-fi beach/ surf pop forward, these three Yogyakarta's local youths decided to form a band in 2010. Putting out their youthful lyrics and wrap it in the blanket of lo-fi drenched guitar sound and layered-laid back female vocals, or what nowadays surf pop means. I dare to say Talking Coasty is amongst the first of their kind in Indonesia.
