There are multiple artists that use the name Takoma: 1) Belarusian four-piece band from Minsk, founded in 2025, combining elements of alternative rock, indie, and grunge in their sound. Their music tells stories about simple life moments, filled with the experience of personal emotions and beautiful melodies. In February 2025, they released their first single, "Metro". 2)Takoma was born in East London. MIchele Sarti (Nick Rivera) and Stefano Podda ( Plasma Expander, Flying Sebadas, Love Boat ) are two sardinian musicians with a huge thing for american music. The one that goes on through John Fahey, the Guthried Bob Dylan, Daniel Jhonston and Califone. The british surroundings are also heavily influential in the making of the songs and explain the cockney singing.
