Take Kare is a musical project by Karen Joyce, a Los Angeles-based musician and artist. Take Kare features an eclectic mix of notable underground LA musicians from the jazz, R&B, and post-rock scene in its live group configuration (and upcoming EP). They sold out LA's Non Plus Ultra during their first show of 2023 and single-release. Their NPR Tiny Desk submission featured Hunter Mee-lee (keyboard), Carlos Elias (bass), Brandon Pasio (drums), Mikey Macapagal (guitar), and Karen Joyce (vocals, guitar).
