Taigatrost is a new project from Tromsø, Norway, consisting of Anette Tunheim Jakobsen and Gaute Barlindhaug. Anette is a DJ who is seen as a driving force in Tromsø’s music scene. Gaute has been working with electronic music since the early 90s, releasing his first record in 94. Over the years he has been involved with several projects such as Aedena Cycle, Alania and Kolar Goi, working with, amongst others, Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland (later to become Røyksopp).
