TV Told Me To (La TV Dijo Que in spanish) is the solo project of visual artist Emilio Barriga. One of the members of the cult "tropi-dark", electronica band Dynamicrón from Bogotá, Colombia. TV Told Me To sounds are more experimental than Dynamicrón's, but the kitsch paraphernalia and the mesh of latin b-movie snips, pop culture and analog oscillation is a constant. Barriga started playing solo gigs on 2005 and on 2007 he gathered four tracks from his solo set for the EP "Ipicillo de Oscuro y Videoso Desamor" (Little EP of Dark and Videous Unloving).
