TOE are an improvised noise/industrial trio from Ipswich, UK on Amnion Records (www.amnionrecords.tk). Unusual within the noise genre, the band use live drums to accompany ritualistic vocal chanting and live electronics in order to create dark, dreamlike atmospheres designed to challenge notions of acceptable music practice as much as to attempt to create consciousness expanding musical atmospheres. TOE are focused exclusively on sound and the experience of sound within a given moment, nothing else. Their debut release "TOE Jams Vol.1" is available for free download at www.amnionrecords.tk This will be followed in May 2011 with an appearence on the amnion records 12" vinyl compilation of the Ipswich, UK noise scene.
