This band no longer goes by The Sound of Silence. They've renamed their group to: Oh No, It's Birds. http://www.myspace.com/ohnoitsbirds Formed in February of 2005, The Sound of Silence is a trio from Roseburg, Oregon. Breaking and bending the genre boundaries of screamo, The Sound of Silence bring you extreme time changes with clean riffs and intense instrumental breakdowns. After two demos, The Sound of Silence recorded with Kris Crummett of Interlace Studios and released the EP "A Stabbing In Shallow Water." Shortly after, the EP "The Insides of a Broken Robot" was produced. Recorded themselves, this record came out just they way it was supposed to; experimental and full of live sound. Their newest release entitled "Tall Tales The Conscience Tells" will be a 7-song EP releasing on May 13th.
