Terrer, a Kuala Lumpur band that was formed in 2019 by Faiq on vocals, Armaan on guitar, Abel on guitar, Helmi on drums, & Azlan on bass. Their music has been labelled indie rock, garage rock, punk, punk gurindam, and the bands personal favourite, DARK WEB INDIE. The band themselves aren't too fussed about what genre they land on tbh. With a mixture of varying musical influences and attitudes, they wrote and recorded their first mini album ep entitled Kaum Lelaki, released on the 4th of November 2022. Kaum Lelaki was selected by Utusan Malaysia’s Rondivu as their top releases of 2022 stating “Dari segi keberanian, EP ini nombor satu” (“This EP is number one, in terms of bravery”). Alternative music portal Junklist also placed Kaum Lelaki in their top 2022 releases “Sebuah goncangan terhadap status quo dan adat bergenerasi melalui tusukan kritikan tajam berlapikkan bantal” (“It's a shake-up against the status-quo and generational customs through sharp critique that's also easy on the ears”).
