The T-Bones is an Australian roots / alt country band. For some years the they have been quietly chronicling the fading fortunes of the bush around the Murray regions of northern Victoria and south-west NSW - songs about amphetamine-fuelled shearers, cars, guns, broken hearts and the inevitable lure of the city. Between them Charlie and Pip have marked out a sound that's original and recognisable. Despite this, their individual styles as writers are different, and the difference adds to the layers within a T-Bones set. They have made a specialty of chronicling life between the bush and the city. Originators of the Sunraysia Sound, the T-Bones sing songs about growing up in small country towns and a country boy's view of the city. It's a rare perspective in Australian music and a goldmine of material. "Sunraysia reared country band The T-Bones are the epitome of rural rooted country with a hard urban edge." - Dave Dawson "Melbourne band T-Bones is one of the best kept secrets in Australian country music." - Adelaide Advertiser Andrew ‘Pip’ Pupillo - vocals/guitar Charlie Wilde - guitar James Stewart - guitar/vocals Hugh Martin - bass/vocals Myles McNicol - drums/vocals 2) Also was a Swedish psychedelic blues band in the sixties, which sometimes does gigs these later days. Kenny Håkansson is perhaps the most known member, on lead guitar, now playing in Kebnekajse and many other bands. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; addition
