In 1994, they started to moderate morning show at Evropa 2 radio. In 1995 they made their first record - song called "Sasa Jede" - and one year later they released they first studio album - "Sbohem Tva Mana". They have overall released 7 studio albums and one DVD. Their formula of creating music is to take world-known hit and add lyrics full of jokes and irony. Main lyricist of Pokondr is Lou Fananek Hagen, which creates really interesting lyrics. # Why This Deserves Your Attention This project merits consideration for how it documents a specific moment in Czech cultural history while maintaining genuine artistic curiosity. Formed by two radio broadcasters in 1989—a pivotal year for the nation—the duo channels their experience navigating newly opened media spaces into their work. What distinguishes their approach is the interplay between two distinct voices and perspectives, creating a conversational dynamic that feels exploratory rather than polished. Their transition from radio to recorded music reflects broader questions about authenticity and creative expression during social transformation. The work demonstrates how popular entertainment can simultaneously engage listeners and engage with ideas, avoiding false choices between accessibility and substance.
