TORA was founded in the spring of 2009. The band formerly known as “The blues Syndrome” started of as an experiment in the genre of blues and bluesrock.this experiment was conducted by founding members Frank Uiterwaal (Lead Guitar) and Kenneth Martens (Drums and percussions). As the early jamsessions advanced, Oliver Pütz (vocals/harps) joined the band and shortly thereafter Luc Starmans (bass) followed. The name TORA actually is a short for “Totally Random” which is the main characteristic for the bands music. On October 18th 2009, the band decided that, though they never had been on stage before, it was time to record some stuff.
