Szilárd Balanyi originated from Balatonfüred, Hungary was born in 1974. He started his musical studies at quite an early age. (viloin, piano, vocal) In 1994 he joined Quimby, a band that became one of Hungary's most popular alternative band. They recorded their fisrt CD in 1995. (Jerry Can Dance) Beside being Quimby's pianist he also worked together with other Hungarian bands and musicians like Heaven Street Seven, Üllői Útik Fuck, Ibolya Oláh, Kimnowak, Jamie Winchester, Barnabás Pély, Barbara Schmidt, Dorina Galambos, etc. His solo carrier started in 2002 when his first CD was published.
