about

Szapora was a multi-national band playing Balkan music. Formed by Dave Kelbie in 1997 with an original line up drawn mostly from British members of the band The Budapest Cafe Orchestra, later additions were the voices of singing partnership Mirella Hodžić and Téa Hodžić from Sarajevo. By their second album, "Doinas & Dragons" (1999), Welsh musician Dylan Fowler (Guitar, Mandocello, Oboe) was a member.
